Very funny in places, wonderfully descriptive and very visual. I realise the whole point of the book is that it's all staged in one setting 'hell', but I found this became tiresome by the end. I also expected more from the end and was left feeling a little un-satisfied. Ler crítica na íntegra

Reading this book without notes is useless, unless you have a good understanding of Greek mythology. Dante talks about his encounter in hell with many historical and contemporary characters of his time and how they are suffering for their sins in hell. Ler crítica na íntegra

If you take your time while reading, you will understand what is being said much easier. If you're still struggling, I suggest to get a copy with a synopsis in the beginning of each cantos. This book rocked my world. Abandon all hope ye who enter. Ler crítica na íntegra
