The following pages are merely a reprint, with a partial change of arrangement, and the addition of a few Notes, of a -phlet published in the year 1834. The original publication ace to the practice of the Presbyterians of the Province of Nova Scotia, among whom reside the previous year, and who formerly ion of the Psalms of David, in conjunction ses appended to the Songs of Zion also, under Established Kirk of Scotland. The object of the writer was, and is, to shew that the Psalms of David are not only to be used in the celebration of the praises of God in the Church, but that they are to be used to the exclusion of all other songs; even such as are found in the Divine Word.
