Letters of administration of the goods of WILLIAM WALTON of the parish of Muccleston, were granted to Alice, his widow, at Stafford, on the 19th day of April, 1564. EDYTH WALTON of Burton upon Trent, dated 8th March, 1557, proved at Lichfield 17th July, 1559, by Joanna and Agnes, her daughters and executrixes. This will is very short; no person of the name of Walton are mentioned, nor is any one designated a relation in it. RICHARD WALTON of Marchington Woodlands, in the parish of Hanbury, in the county of Stafford, dated the last day of October, 1557, proved by Robert Millwood [query Millward] and Thomas Boobye at Uttoxeter, 1566. The testator mentions his having seven children, viz. Henry, Margery, James, William, Mary, Elizabeth, and Ellen, to each of whom he left a legacy. u |
