Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution and Laws of the State of Vermont, the Senate convened in the State House, at Montpelier, on the second Thursday, being the fourteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine. At ten o'clock in the forenoon, the Senate was called to order by his Honor, STEPHEN THOMAS, the President. Prayer was offered by the Rev. P. B. Fisk of Peacham. The roll of the Senate was called, whereupon it appeared that the following named Senators were present, and they were duly sworn by the President, and severally subscribed the oaths of office: Caledonia County.
