An extremely interesting volume, for it is not only the EDITIO PRINCEPS of PINDAR, which has a Preface by Aldus, in which, after giving a sketch of the war that ravaged Italy and suspended his typographical labours, he takes a review of what he has already done in the cause of literature, and tells us that he had already exercised the art of printing 20 years, namely in 1493; but, bas date 1549, strongly impressed upon it.
