MAGNUS'S

ENAMELLED SLATE

BILLIARD TABLES

Are the only ones suitable for hot or damp climates, and are specially recommended by the Jurors in their printed report of the Great Exhibition of 1851, at which they obtained the PRIZE MEDAL. They also obtained a FIRST CLASS MEDAL at the PARIS EXPOSITION.

HER MAJESTY HAS ONE AT OSBORNE.

With regard to the statements that have been advertised, to the effect that the "Enamelled Slate Billiard Table at Osborne has been superseded" by one made by Messrs. Thurston and Co., &c., &c., Mr. MAGNUS will only refer to the verdict he obtained on the 28th of June last, in the Court of Common Pleas, in the action of Magnus v. Pitts (Thurston and Co.), for the libel published by that firm respecting his Tables, and to the following observation of Mr. Justice Crowder in summing up that case to the Jury :—

"I think it is fair to say that this is a completely false and fabricated statement, known to be false, and made for the purpose."

See further Testimonials in the Illustrated Catalogue, which will be
forwarded on application.
