ing; and, until the cars shall run on Sunday, to carry the great mail
on that day in post-coaches, as at present. The great mail from the
east may be conveyed in post-coaches over the travelled road from
Salem to Boston, when it does not arrive at Salem from Portsmouth
in season to connect with the last train of cars leaving Salem. sa

leave nearest to the following hours: 8 a. m., 11 a. m., 4 p. m., and
7 p.m.; arrive in one hour after departure.
