૮ ઈરની ભવીશકહેનાર જે કર્યું હતું તે તાહાર પુરૂં થા કે જેવું ખુલ ઈશરાએલના દીકરાઓથી ઠરાવાઊ તેહેવું ઠરાવેલું કુલ તે તીશ રૂપીઆ તેઓએ લીધા 10 And gave tlhem for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me. ૧૦ ને જેમ પરભુએ મને હુકમ કીધો તેંન કુંભારના ખેતર ને શરૂ આએષા 11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews! And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest. ૧૧ તાહારે ઇશુ હાકનની શાંહીંનાં ઊભા રહેા ને હાકને તેણેને પુષ્ઠતાં કહું કે શું ઈહુદીઓના રાન્ત તું છે તાહાર ઇશ્યુએ તેહેને કહું કે તું કેહેછે તેજ 12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. ૧૩ ને સુખી ઇસ્મજંકાએ તથા ઘરડાએ તેણેના પર વટાં મુકા છતાં તેણે કંઈ જવાબ ન દીધો 18 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? ૧૩ તાહારે ખીલત તેહેને કહેછે કે તાહારે ઊલટી તે કેટલી શાહેદી આપે એ શું તું નથી શાંભલતા 14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly. ૧૪ પણ તેણે તેણેને એક શખરના પશુ જવાબ ન દીધો એથી હાકન ઘણું અચરત પાઁના 15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would. ૧૫ હવે [તે] પરવમાં જે એક બંધીયાનને લાંકા ચાહે તેણેને તે આને શારૂ સુકીદેવાની હાકનની રીત હતી 16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas, ૧૬ ને તેવેલા બારાબાશ કેહેવાએલા તેના એક પરશીધ નાં ખુશ બંધીવાન હતા 47 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto then, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? ૧૭ તેમાટે તેઓ એકઠા શઆ પર પીલતે તેઓને કહું કે તમે કાહાને ચાહાછા કે હું તમારે શારૂ [તેહેને] સુકીદ બારાબાશ ને કે ઇશ્યુને જે ખરીશટ કહેવાએછે 18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him. ૧૮ કેમકે તેણે બંણું કે તેઓએ વેરે તેહેને શાંષા હુતા 19 [ When he was set down on the judgement seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to de with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. ૧૪ ને ઇનશાની ગાદી પર તે બેઠો તાહારે તેહની બઇરે તેવું ને કેહેવાડી નાકલું કે તે નીતીવાનને તુંથી કંઈ ન કરાએ કાંજે આજ ચપણામાં તેહેને લીધે હું ઘણું દુઃખ પાઁની * 20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. ૨૦ પણ સુખી ઈજકોએ તથા ઘરડાઓએ લોકોને શમાએ વા કે તેઓ બારાબાશને નાગે ને ઈશુને નારીનંખાવે 21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. ૨૧ વલી હાકને જવાબ દેતાં તેઓને કહું કે તમે તે બેનાં શ્રી કાહાને ચાહોછે કે હું તમારે શારૂ [તેહેને] સુકીર્ણ ને તેઓએ કહું બારાબાશને 22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. ક્રિટના કે ૨૨ પીલત તેને કે એ તો ઇશ્યુ જે ખીશટ કેહેવાણે તેહેન હું શું કરૂં શહુ તેહેને કહેછે કે તે ભરણુથને જડાએ 23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done! But they cried out the more, saying, Let hin be arucified. ૨૩ તાહાર હાકને કહું શામાટે તેણે શું જીરૂં કીધુંછે પણ તેઓ એ વહુતી ખુન પાડતાં કહું કે તે નરણ્યને જડાએ 24 [ When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. ૨૪ ને પીલતે જેલ કે પોતાનું કંઈજ ચાલતું નથી પણ વહુ તી ગડબડ થાએછું તાહારે તેણે પાણી લઇને લોકોની આગલ પોતાના હાથ ધોઈને કહું કે એ નીતીવાનના લાહુ શુભંધી હું નીરદોશી છઉં તને ના 25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. ૨૫ તાહારે શરવ લોકોએ જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું કે હેવું તેણે હમારા પર તથા હમારા વંશ પર [થાએ] 26 ॥ Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. ૨૬ પછી તેણે બારાબાશને તેઓને શારૂ મુકીદીધો ને ઇશ્યુને કોર ડા ભરાવીને ભરણુને જડાવવા માટે [તેઓને] શાંપા 27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus inte the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. ૨૭ તાહારે હાકનના શીપાઇઓએ ઇશ્યુને સ્નેહેલમાં લઈજઈને આખા ગીશાલાને તહુની આશપાશ એકઠો કીધો 28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. ૨૮ પછી તેઓએ તેહેનાં વશતર ઊતારીને કીર ભજી ડગલા તેહેને પારાઓનો 29 | And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, king of the Jews! ૨૯ ને કાંટાનો જુગઢ ગુંથીને તેણેના માથા પર જુકો ને તેહેના જન ગ઼ા હાથનાં શેટી [આપી] ને તેહેની શાહીંનાં ઘૂંટણીએ બેશીને તે દુના નશખરી કરતાં કહું કે એ ઇહુદીઓના રાજા શુખી રહે 30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote bim on the head. ૩૦ પછી તેઓએ તેણેના પર ફુંકીને તે શોટી લઈને તેણેના ભાથા પર નારી 31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. ૩૧ ને વહુની ભશખરી કરી રહ્યા તાહારે ડગલા તેહેના પરથી ઊતારીને તેણેનાંજ બચતર તેહેને પેહેરાએવાં પછી ભરણુથંભે જડ વાને તે તેણેને લઈ ગ 32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross. ૩૨ ને તેઓ બાહાર જતા હતા તાારે કુંરેનીના શીમાન નાંને એક જણુ તેઓને ભલા તાારે તેઓ તેહેનો નરણુથંભ તેહેની પાશે વડે ઊંચકાવી લઈશ 33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, ૩૩ ને ગલગથા નાંને એક જંગે જે ખોપરીની જંગે કહેવાએ છે તાંહાં પાહાંચા 34 | They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. ૩૪ તાહારે તેઓએ પીત ભેલેલી નહી તેણેને પીવાને આપી પણ તેણે ચાખીને પીવાની ઈચ્છા ન કીધી 35 And they erucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. ૩૫ ને તેહેને નરથને જડા પર તેઓએ હાડ બાંધીને તેહેના શતર વેહેંચી લીધાં એમાંટે કે ભવીશકેહેનારે જે કહું હુતું તે પુરૂં થાએ કે નાહારાઁ વશતર તેઓએ નાહોના વેહેંચી લીધાં ને માહારા ડગલા માટે હોડ બાંધી 36 And sitting down they watched him there: ૩૬ પછી તેઓએ તાંહાં બેશીને તેણેની ચોકી કીધી 37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. ૩૭ ને તહેની તાહીંમત લખેલી તેહેના નાથાથી ઊપર ચડ્ડીં ડી કે ઈશ્યુ જે ઇહુદીઓનો રાા તે એજ છે 38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. ૩૮ તાલુારે તેઓએ તેહેની બ્લેડે બે ચારને નરભે જડા એક ને જમણી ગમ ને બીન્તને ડાબી ગમ 39 | And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, ૩૪ ને પાશેથી જનારાઓએ પાતાનાં માથાં હલાવતાં તથા તેદું ની નીંદા કરતાં કહ્યું 10 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. ૪૦ કે એ મંદીરના પાડનાર તથા તરણે દાહાડામાં બાંધનાર પોતાને બચાવ તે તું દેવનો દીકરો છે તેા ભરભેથી ઊતરી આવ 41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, ૪૧ ને તેજ તરહુ સુખી ઈઆજકોએ પણ શાશતરીઓ તથા ઘર ડાઓ ક્ષુધાઁ નશખી કરતાં કહું |
