HE chariots of GOD are twenty thousand, even thousands of Angels, and the LORD is among them, as in the holy plain of Sinai.

EVERLASTING GOD, Who hast ordained and constituted the services of Angels and men in a wonderful order; Mercifully grant, that as Thy holy Angels alway do Thee service in heaven, so by Thy appointment they may succour and defend us on earth; through JESUS CHRIST Our LORD. Amen.

Apostles

ALMIGHTY GOD, Who hast knit together Thine elect in one communion and fellowship, in the mystical body of Thy SON CHRIST our LORD; Grant us grace so to follow Thy blessed Saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those unspeakable joys, which Thou hast prepared for them that unfeignedly love Thee; through JESUS CHRIST Our LORD. Amen.

THOU, Whose Word was heard from out the darkness, "Let there be light," and there was light; Grant, we humbly beseech Thee, that the light of the glorious Gospel of JESUS CHRIST, Who is the Word, may shine unto us, for His Merit's sake. Amen.

LESSED LORD, Who, as on this day, didst burst Death's fetters, that Thou nightest become the first-fruits of them that sleep in Thee; bid that the stone, which shuts us within the sepulchre of our sins, be rolled away, that we may come forth in the power of Thy Resurrection life, for Thine Own sake. Amen.

HOLY SPIRIT of our GOD, Who, upon the first day of the week, didst descend on the assembled Apostles, filling them with the fulness of Thy miraculous grace; infuse in us, we pray Thee, the sevenfold gifts of Thy most sweet Comfort, for His sake Who hath given Thee to be our Comforter, JESUS CHRIST, our LORD. Amen.

Monday

ON WHICH DAY GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS; AND OUR BLESSED LORD DROVE THE MONEY-CHANGERS FROM THE TEMPLE.

LORD GOD, Almighty and Merciful, Who, on the second day, didst create the firmament in the midst of the waters, to divide the waters from the waters; grant us so to see the Bow of Thy mercy in the Heavens, that it be not hid from us in that Day when Heaven and Earth shall pass away through JESUS CHRIST, our LORD.

LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who didst drive forth the

House shall be called a House of Prayer;" make us so to venerate the Place where Thine Honour dwelleth, that in deepest humility, and most reverent fear, we may ever approach the sacred precincts of Thy Most Holy Place; Who liveth and reigneth with the FATHER, and the HOLY GHOST, world without end.
