It will thus be seen that an attempt has been made to embody in this Catalogue all publications of a distinctly Colonial character, the whole of which are carefully indexed, and so rendered easily accessible. The system adopted is in some respects similar to that of the York Gate Catalogue of the Library of Mr. S. W. SILVER (a former Member of the Council of this Institute), to whom, as well as to Mr. E.
