SUCH is the original title of this singularly rare and curious volume, of which, though there have been many Latin editions, only one is known to exist in the English language, and even that, it may be presumed, was printed upon the Continent, by the above title referring to the general mart of that age, for vending English books. It is reprinted in quarto, from a new fount of black letter, upon drawing paper, and embellished with 120 wood-cuts, incidental to each fable, faithfully copied from the spirited outlines of the Latin edition printed at Gouda in 1480.
