No. 1151), entitled "Concurrent resolution of the Senate and Assembly, proposing an amendment to section eighteen of article three of the Constitution, relating to private and local bills," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to, and said bill restored to its place on the order of third reading.

Mr. Argetsinger, from the committee on affairs of cities, to which was referred the Senate bill introduced by Mr. Stivers (No. 1615, Int. No. 1214), entitled "An act to allow the common, council of the city of Middletown to determine whether it shall pay from the city treasury a portion of the expense of a trunk sewer in said city," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to, and said bill restored to its place on the order of third reading.

Mr. Hewitt, from the committee on internal affairs of towns, counties and public highways, to which was referred the Senate bill introduced by Mr. Wicks (No. 1600, Int. No. 1091), entitled "An act to provide a purchasing agent for the county of Oneida,' reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to, and said bill restored to its place on the order of third reading.

Mr. Walton, from the committee on conservation, to which was referred the Assembly bill introduced by Mr. Soule (No. 201, Rec. No. 173), entitled "An act to amend the Conservation Law, in relation to jurisdiction of courts in criminal cases," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to.

On motion of Mr. Walton, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Mr. Argetsinger, from the committee on affairs of cities, to which was referred the Assembly bill introduced by Mr. Walsh (No. 659, Rec. No. 179), entitled "An act to amend the General Municipal Law, in relation to the issuance of bonds by third class cities of the State," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to.

On motion of Mr. Argetsinger, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Mr. Sage, from the committee on finance, to which was referred the Assembly bill introduced by Mr. E. A. Johnson (No. 1401, Rec. No. 372), entitled "An act making an appropriation for the establishment by the Industrial Commission of an additional public employment office, and providing for its maintenance," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to. On motion of Mr. Sage, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Brown presented a communication from the German-American Alliance of New York State, advising the Senate that action had already been taken by the directors of said association to dissolve the same.
