How great is his Mercy, how gracious his Love to the poor finful Sons of Men! Praise the Lord, O my Soul, and all that is within me, praise his Holy Name. Praise the Lord, O my Soul, and forget not all his Benefits; who faveth thy Life from Destruction, and crowns thee with Mercy and loving Kindness. Glory be to God on high, and on Earth Peace, good Will towards Men. I worship Thee, O Lord, and magnify thy Name for ever, who haft vouchsafed to fill my Heart with Gladness,

and

and to receive me into thy Holy Church, to make me a Member of thy Dear Son, to make me a Child of Thine, and fettle an Eternal Inheritance upon me, in thy Kingdom of Heaven. I most humbly implore thy Grace, O heavenly Father that I may walk worthy of this Holy Vocation, that by true Repentance for my Sins, and a fteady Continuance in good Works, I may faithfully perform my Vows, and at length obtain thy Heavenly Promises, even the Salvation of my Soul, thro' Jefus Christ our Lord. Amen.

IF there should be no Time for this in the Church, it may be used at Home, and added to the following.

At Home, Retire and say,

I am now by God's great Goodness, received into the Congregation of Chrift's Flock, and have been figned with the Sign of the Cross, in Token that hereafter I fhould not be ashamed to confefs the Faith of Chrift Crucify'd, and manfully to fight under his Banner, against Sin, the World, and the Devil, and to continue Chrift's faithful Soldier and Servant unto my Life's End.

Seeing then that I am Regenerated and grafted into the Body of Chrift's Church, let me give Thanks unto Almighty God for these Benefits,

and

and with earnest Prayer unto him invoke the
Affiftance of his Holy Spirit, that I may lead my
Life according to this Beginning.
Our Father, &c.

I yield Thee hearty Thanks, moft merciful Father, that it hath pleased thee to Regenerate me with thy Holy Spirit, to receive me for thine own Child by Adoption, and to incorporate me into thy Holy Church; and humbly befeech thee to grant, that I being dead unto Sin, and living unto Righteousness, and being * by Baptifm buried with Chrift into his Death, may crucify the Old Man, and utterly abolish the whole Body of Sin; and that as I am now made Partaker of the Death of thy Son, I may also be made Partaker of his Refurrection, so that with the Refidue of thy Holy Church, I may be an Inheritor of thy Everlasting Kingdom, thro' Jefus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE Lord bless me and keep me, the Lord lift up the Light of his Countenance upon me, and give me Peace now, and for evermore.

Amen.
