The committee reported that the town of Arlington is entitled to seven justices of the peace, and there are but six elected, and that Charles G. Turner and Dorman Andrews had the next highest and an equal number of votes; and thereupon, on nomination of Mr. Thomas, the representative of the town of Arlington, Charles G. Turner was duly elected to that office. The committee also reported that the town of Sunderland is entitled to five justices of the peace, and there are but four elected, and that Reuben Webb and E. H. Graves had the next highest and equal number of vote; and thereupon, on nomination of Mr. Shuffleton, the representative from the town of Sunderland, Reuben Webb was duly elected to that office.
