Página 21 - Hammerstein, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is one of the defendants in the within entitled action; that he has read the foregoing answer and knows the contents thereof; that the same is true of his own knowledge, except as to the matters therein stated to be alleged upon information and belief, and that as to those matters he believes it to be true.
Página 8 - The Legislature shall provide by law for the registry of all bills or notes, issued or put in circulation as money, and shall require ample security for the redemption of the same in specie.
Página 5 - The enacting clause of all bills shall be "The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows," and no law shall be enacted except by bill.
Página 4 - Each house shall keep a journal of its proceedings, and publish the same, except such parts as may require secrecy. The doors of each house shall be kept open, except when the public welfare shall require secrecy.
Página 7 - ARTICLE VI. SECTION 1. The Assembly shall have the power of impeachment, by the vote of a majority of all the members elected. The Court for the trial of impeachments shall be composed of the President of the Senate, the Senators, or a major part of them, and the Judges of the Court of Appeals, or the major part of them.
Página 18 - Of A STATE POLICE. The Legislature at its first session after the adoption of this Constitution shall provide by law for the organization of a State police force which shall be in lieu of city, county or district police departments now existing, under whatever name thty may have been or are now known or designated.
