are there?

A. Three; the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Creed of St. Athanasius.

Q. What does the Eighth Article of our Church teach concerning them?

A. "The three Creeds, Nicene Creed, Athanasius's Creed, and that which is commonly called the Apostles' Creed, ought thoroughly to be received and believed: for they may be proved by most certain warrants of holy Scripture."Article viii.

Q. When are these Creeds repeated?

A. The Apostles' Creed is repeated at Morning and Evening Prayer; the Nicene Creed after the Gospel, at the Communion Service.

Q. When is the Creed of St. Athanasius repeated?

Answ. First, I learn to believe in God the Father, who hath made me and all the world. Secondly, in God the Son, who hath redeemed me and all mankind.

Thirdly, in God the Holy Ghost, who sanctifieth me and all the elect people of God.

Q. By what titles do we collectively address the "Three Persons and One God" in the Litany?

A. "O holy, blessed, and glorious Trinity, three Persons and one God: have mercy upon us miserable sinners."

Q. Do we find the word "Trinity" in any of the Creeds?
