On motion of Senator Cottrill, the rules were suspended, and No. 3 S. A bill relating to the commitment of persons to the insane hospitals. Was read a third time and passed. The amendments to No. 19 S., A bill to fix the minimium price of all public lands which have not been offered for sale, at public sale, at the sum of two dollars and fifty cents per acre. Were adopted. Senator Kingston offered the following amendment: Add to the end of section 1 as follows: Provided, that the provisions of this act shall not apply to late selections of state lands in the county of Juneau. On motion of Senator Minor, The bill and pending amendments was recommitted to committee on Public Lands. On motion of Senator Stanley, M. C.
