Bird out of any money in the treasury, after the expiration of one year from the passage of this act, without regard to the limitation and restriction contained in the 3rd section of said act; and so much of said act as conflicts with the provisions of this act, is hereby repealed; and the auditor is hereby authorized to give a warrant or warrants for said sum, payable one year after the passage of this act.

AN ACT to provide for the payment of certain claims against the Territory.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. There shall be paid out of the moneys in the ter ritorial treasury, the following sums for the purposes herein. named:

To Nathan Goodell for transporting seven boxes military stores from Green Bay to Taycheda, in June, 1844, as per order of Gov. Doty, thirteen dollars and three cents.

To George D. Ruggles for transporting the same in July, 1844, from Taycheda to Madison, as per oider of Gov. Doty, fifteen dollars,

To Abner Nichols for transporting arms from Mineral Point to Madison, in December, 1842, called for at the execution of Caffee, ten dollars.

To Abel Rasdall for transporting arms from Fort Winnebago to Mineral Point, in 1842, to guard Caffee previous to his execution, twenty dollars.

To W. Hempstead, of Galena, for his charges on three boxes of public documents, ten dollars.

AN ACT to provide for paying the Adjutant General of the Militia, for his former services and disbursements.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin.

SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated to William R. Smith, the sum of two hundred dollars, the same being in full for his services and disbursements as Adjutant General of the militia, from the 12th day of April, 1843, to the present time, which sum the treasurer of the Territory is hereby authorized and directed to pay out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

AN ACT fixing the salary of the Auditor and Treasurer of the Territory.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION. 1. That the Auditor of the Territory shall be allow.

ed and paid an annual salary of one hundred dollars, from the 4th day of February, 1845; and the eighth section of an act of the Revised Statutes entitled an act relative to the office and duties of the Auditor of the Territory of Wisconsin, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. The salary of the Treasurer of the Territory shall hereafter be one hundred dollars, commencing from and after the 4th day of February, 1845.

AN ACT to provide for the payment of interest on certain liquidated territorial bonds.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That there shall be paid out of any moneys in the territorial treasury, to Alexander Mitchell, the sum of four hundred and twenty-four dollars and thirty cents, for interest due upon bonds issued by the Secretary of the Territory, bearing date February 19, A. D. 1841, the principal of which was paid by A. P. Field, at Washington city, on the 18th day of January, A. D. 1843.

SEC. 2. That there shall be allowed and paid out of the territorail treasury to W. N. Seymour, the sum of two dollars and fifty' cents for costs in suit of the Territory vs. Doty and others. APPROVED February 3, 1846.

AN ACT to provide for the payment of Horatio N. Wells' account against the Territory.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. There shail be allowed and paid to Horatio N. Wells, out of the territorial treasury, one hundred and eighty-five dollars for services rendered in 1842, '3, in three several suits of the Territory vs. Doty and others, which sum shall be in full for all services up to this date.

AN ACT fixing the salary of the Attorney General.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That the Attorney General of the Territory shall be allowed and paid an annual salary of two hundred any fifty dollars from and after tho first day of July. A D. 1845, and the Auditor of the Territory shall issue warrants on the Treasurer for said salary quarterly, if required: Provided, That there shall not be allowed to the Attorney General any compensation for services already rendered, except as provided in this act. Approved January 29th, 1846.

AN ACT for the benefit of Adelbut H. Bishop.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That the name of Adelbut H. Bishop be and the same is hereby changed to Adelbut H. Hubbard; by which latter name he shall hereafter be known and called for all legal intents and purposes.

AN ACT to incorporate the Carrollton Manufac turing Company of Ormsbeeville, Wisconsin.

BE IT ENACTED by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That Rhineer Turse, of Seneca county, New Who shall York, and Samuel B. Ormsbee, Jarvis Rankin, Rowland Carring-company. ton, William Rankin, John J. Brown, Calvin B. Carrington, Ebenezer Bullock, Elijah F. Cooke, William Farnsworth and H. H. Conklin, of Sheboygan county, Territory of Wisconsin, and such other persons as may be associated with them, their successors and assigns, be and they are hereby declared to be a body coporate and politic in fact and in name, by the name of the Carrollton Manufacturing Company, of Ormsbeeville, Wisconsin, and that by the same name they and their successors and assigns, shall and may have continual successions and shall be capable in law of suing and being sued, pleading and being impleaded, answering and being answered unto, defending and being defended in all courts and places whatsoever, and in all manner of actions;
