INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF BILLS.

Substitute for H. B. No. 47, by Mr. Kerr, "A bill for an act to amend an act concerning county licenses," was introduced, read first time and, on motion by Mr. Kelley, accepted in lieu of H. B. No. 47.

H. B. No. 71, by Mr. Dole, "A bill for an act for the protection of game," was introduced, read first time and referred to Committee No. 19.

H. B. No. 72, by Mr. Kerr, "A bill for an act concerning the carrying of weapons," was introduced, read first time and referred to Committee No. 19.

H. B. No. 73, by Mr. Lobban, "A bill authorizing the issuing of the bonds of school district No. 2 in the County of Johnson and Territory of Wyoming for the funding of its existing indebtndness and for other purposes," was introduced, read first time and referred to Committee No. 1.

H. B. No. 74, by Mr. Summers, "A bill for an act to amend an act entitled 'An act respecting executors and administrators, of their appointment and removal from office," was introduced, read first time and referred to Committee No. 19.

On motion by Mr. Robins, the House stood in recess until 2 o'clock p. m.

AFTERNOON SESSION.

The House was called to order at 2 o'clock p. m. by Mr. Speaker.

Mr. Speaker announced the signing by him of Enrolled Acts Nos. 7 and 8.

Messrs. Dole, Bussey and Summers were announced as members of a conference committee in the matter of C. F. No. 13, on the part of the House.

INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF BILLS.

C. F. No. 24, "A bill providing for the appointment of a commission to select and locate certain lands granted by Congress of the United States to the Territory of Wyoming for university purposes," was received from the Council.

Read first time and referred to Committee No. 6.

Mr. Speaker appointed Mr. Whitehouse to act in the place of Mr. Genter on Committee No. 6 until such time as Mr. Genter should return.

Substitute for C. F. No. 15, “A bill for an act to close business houses and prevent the sale of intoxicating liquors on Sunday," was received from the Council.

Read first time and referred to Committee No. 5.

C. F. No. 20, "A bill for an act to locate and provide for the erection of an insane asylum at Evanston, in Wyoming Territory, and for other purposes," was received from the Council. Read first time and referred to Committee No. 5.

C. F. No. 28, "A bill for an act to authorize the sheriff of Albany County to appoint two deputies and fixing the compensation thereof," was received from the Council and referred to Committee No. 2.

SECOND READING AND REFERENCE OF BILLS.

H. J. R. No. 12 was read second time by title and on motion by Mr. Dole the rules were suspended and H. J. R. No. 12 was ordered upon its third reading and final passage; whereupon H. J. R. No. 12, relating to the death of Gen. Winfield Scott Hancock, was read third time, placed upon its final passage and passed:

No. 55, as amended, being "A bill for an act to authorize counties in the Territory of Wyoming to issue bonds for the purpose of aiding the construction of railways," was read third time, placed upon its final passage and passed:

which was read first time, and on motion by Mr. Kelley said substitute for C. F. No. 17 was accepted in lieu of C. F. Ño. 17.

On motion by Mr. Lobban the rules were suspended and substitute for C. F. No. 17 was read second and third times, placed upon it final passage and passed.
