On motion of Mr. Robins, the report of the Conference Committee on H. J. R. No 2 was adopted.

Mr. Mathews introduced H. B. No. 15, “to authorize the sheriffs of Carbon County to appoint deputies," which was read first time and, upon motion, referred to Committee No. 5.

Mr. Genter introduced H. B. No. 16, "to provide for the appointment of a Game Protector," which was read first time and, upon motion, referred to Committee No. 12.

Mr. O'Brien introduced H. B. No. 17, "to amend an act to encourage the growth of timber and fruit trees in the Territory of Wyoming, approved Dec. 9, 1879," which was read first time and, upon motion, referred to Committee No. 10.

On motion of Mr. Seaton, the House went into Committee of the Whole for the consideration of business on the General File. The committee, on arising presented the following report:

Your Committee of the Whole, having had under consideration the General File, would report as follows, recommending: That H. B. No. 8 do pass.

That H. J. R. No. 7 be amended by striking out the word "fifty" in the 6th line and inserting the words "one hundred." That the words "twenty-five" in the 7th line be stricken out and the word "twenty" inserted in lieu thereof, and that the sum "$750.00" be inserted to fill blanks, and that as amended the bill do pass.

That H. B. No. 5 be laid on the table.
