No. 22, upon motion by Mr. Robins, was amended by striking out the word "twenty" in line 1 in section 1 and inserting the word "eighteen" in lieu thereof; by striking out the figures "20" in line 4, section 1, and inserting the figures "18" in lieu thereof; and the bill was referred to Committee No. 12 for engrossment as thus amended.

H. B. No. 29, "Authorizing the clerk of the supreme court to appoint a deputy," was ordered upon its third reading and final passage; whereupon H. B. No. 29 was read third time, placed upon its final passage and passed.
