Psal. LXXIX.

O R D, how long wilt thou be angry: shall thy jealousy burn like fire for ever?

6. Pour out thine indignation upon the heathen that have not known thee: and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy Name.

7. For they have devoured 'Jacob: and laid waste his dwelling-place.

8. O remember not our old sins, but have mercy upon us, and that soon: for we are come to great misery.

Oy Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: O deliver us, and be merciful unto our sins for thy name's fake.

Psal. CXIX. last Part,

1. T E T my complaint come before thee, I ^ O Lord: give me understanding

according to thy word.

2. Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

3. My lips shall speak of thy praise : when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

1. T_T O W long wilt thou forget me, ll. O Lord, for ever: how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

Z. How long shall I seek counsel in my foul, and be so vexed in my heart: How long shall mine enemies triumph ©ver me?

3., Consider and hear me, O Lord my Go®: Lighten mine, eyes, that I sleep not in death.

4. Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him: for if I be cast down, they that trouble me, will rejoice at it.

5. But my trust is in thy mercy: and my heart is joyful in thy salvation.

6. I will sing of the Lord, because he hath dealt so lovingly with me: yea, I will praise the name of the Lord most highest.
