down to the sea in ships : these men see the works of the LORD, and his wonders

in the deep. 25. For at his word the stormy wind ariseth: which lifteth

the waves thereof. 26. They are carried up to heaven, and

down again to the deep: their foul melt

eth away because of trouble. 27. They reel to and fro, and stagger like

a drunken man : and are at their wits end.

28. So when they cry unto the Lord in

their trouble : he delivereth them out of

their distress. 29. For he maketh the storm to cease : so

that the waves thereof are still. 30. Then are they glad, because they are

at rest : 'and so he bringeth them unto

the haven where they would be.
31. O that men would therefore praise the

LORD for his goodness : and declare the
wonders that he doth for the children of

men !
32. That they would exalt him also in the

congregation of the people : and praise

him in the seat of the elders. 31. O praise the LORD, &c.

ing kindness of the LORD: with my mouth will I ever be shewing forth thy truth, from one generation to an

thy wondrous works : and thy truth in

the congregation of the saints. 6. For who is he

the clouds : that Thall be compared unto the LORD ?

7. And

7. And what is he among the Gods: that

shall be like unto the LORD ? 8. God is very greatly to be feared in the

council of the saints': and to be had in reverence of all them that are round about

him. Hallelujah. 9. O LORD God of hosts, who is like

unto thee? Thy truth, most mighty

LORD, is on every side. 10. Thou ruleft the raging of the sea : thou

stillest the waves thereof when they arise. 14. Thou hast a mighty arm : strong is thy

hand, and high is thy right hand. 15. Righteousness and equity are the habi

tation of thy seat : mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Hallelujah.

E merciful unto me, O God, for

man goeth about to devour me: he
is daily fighting and troubling me.
2. Mine enemies are daily in hand to swal-

that fight

I have put my trust in God, and will

not fear what flesh can do unto me. s. They daily mistake my words: all that

they imagine is to do me evil. 6. They hold all together, and keep them

selves close : and mark my steps, when they lay wait for

soul. 7. Shall they escape for their wickedness ?

Thou, O God, in thy displeasure Thalt

cast them down. 10. In God's word will I rejoice : in the

Lord's word will I comfort me.
11. Yea, in God have I put my trust: I

will not be afraid what man can do unto
me. Hallelujah ,
