J ;brooks: so longeth my- soul after

thee, O God. Ps. xliii. 2. Thou art the God of my strength, why hast thou put me from thee: and why go I so heavily, while , the enemy opprcsseth me? .

3. O send out thy light and thy truth, that they may lead me: and bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy dwelling. *

4. Then will I go unto the altar os God, the God of my joy and gladness: and upon the harp will I give thanks unto theei'' O Go D my God .

5. Why art thou so heavy, O my soul: and why art thou so disquieted within me?

6. O put thy trust in God: for I will yet give him thanks, which is the help of my countenance, and my God.

2. Every day will I give thanks unto thee r and praise thy Name far ever and ever.

3. Great is the Lord, and marvellous, worthy to be praised: there is no end of his greatness.

4. One generation shall praise thy works unto another: and declare thy power.

5. As for me, I will be talking of thy worship: thy glory, thy praise, and wondrous works j

6. So that men shall speak of the might of thy marvellous acts: and I will also tell of thy greatness.

3. Shew me thy ways, O Lord: and teach me thy paths.

4. Lead me forth in thy truth, and learn me: for thou art the God of my salvation; in thee hath been my hope all the day. long.

5. Call to remembrance, O Lord, thy tender mercies: and thy loving kindnesses which have been ever of old.

6. Oh remember not the sins and offences of my youth: but according to thy mercyj think thou upon me, O Lord, for thy goodness.

1. TJEAR my crying, O God: give

3. O set me up upon the rock that is higher for thou hast been my hope, and a strong tower for me against the enemy.

4. I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: . and my trust (hall be under the covering

of thy wings.

5. For thou, O Lord, hast heard my desires: and hast given an heritage unto those that fear thy Name.

6. O Lord grant the King a long life: that his years may endure throughout all generations.
