In obedience to the directions of the "Act supplementary to the act to establish the Treasury Department," the Secretary of the Treasury respectfully submits the following report: 1. OF THE REVENUE. The nett revenue arising from imports and tonnage, internal duties, direct tax, public lands, postage, and other incidental receipts, during the year 1817, amounted to Viz. The payments into the Treasury, during the three first quarters of the year, are esti mated to amount to Viz.
