INDIANAPOLIS, June 2d, 1897.

The Special Committee appointed this morning to devise ways and means to meet the overdraft of about six hundred dollars due the Treasurer on account of payments of the Bishop's salary, and to provide an anticipated shortage of about two hundred dollars for the current year, on account of said salary, reports as follows:

It is estimated that of the arrearages unpaid the sum of two hundred dollars will be realized. This leaves six hundred dollars to be provided for. We recommend that this sum be raised by voluntary subscriptions, and to that end the undersigned members of the Committee severally pledge the amount set opposite their respective names, and agree that the same shall be collected and paid in four equal installments, to the Treasurer of the Diocese, on July 1st, 1897; September 1st, 1897; December 1st, 1897, and March 1st, 1898.
