[This was an extensive collection of books on a variety of economic subjects. The sale being of a representative and unusual character has been reported very fully, though it must be observed that on the whole the books were not good copies, particularly those relating to Agriculture, America and the West Indies. The works bought by the Goldsmith's Company were purchased to add to the Library given by them to the London University.—ED.]
