In consequence of the Proprietors having contracted with the Bordeaux and Burgundy wine growers for supplies of their best wines, qualities of the first vintages may be had at this hotel at moderate prices. Since the Hotel has been in the hands of new proprietors instead of a company, the reduction they have made in the prices precludes them from paying fees to the cab and each drivers at the Railway Station. Travellers are therefore requested to bear in mind that the Grand Hotel de Lyon is situated in the centre of the Rue Imperial, near the Bank of France, and opposite the Palace of the Bourse.

This well-known and favourite first-class Hotel is most conveniently and admirably situated rear the Railway Terminus, and the Landing-Place of the Rhine Steamers, and commands an extensive view of the Rhine and Taunus Mountains. This highly recommended Establishment combines superior accommodation with moderate charges.
