GENTLEMEN: This refers to your application for exemption from Federal income tax as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, if you will submit your application in duplicate after you have actively operated over a period of 12 months in carrying out the purposes for which you were formed, further consideration will be given to your request for exemption from Federal income tax at that time.
