God and his Creation. pp. 156. By the author of the " Critique of the idea of God in the present systems." The book is well written, and contains a clear exposition of the fundamental notions of philosophy.

Among the recent publications in other departments of science, we must first notice the fourth Part of Humboldt's Kosmos. This was published in the last days of 1857.
