ghen to the Saints of the most High, and that Time came that the S hits pojfejfed the Kingdom* Let us take a little Notice here, that after the Warring Time of the Beast or Little Horn is over, and the Ancient of Days is come, then Judgment was given to the Saints, which respects the just Distribution of Rewards, which shall be given unto them, by the Lord Jesus Christ, at that Time; then it is that the Saints possessed the Kingdom.

~ Now this Kingdom, which the Saints at this time areto possess, cannot be meant of a spiritual. Jftwgiom of Grace under the Gospel (as I have often shewed) is very plain in these Words; for the spiritual Kingdom of Grace, which is in every Belief ver, these Saints were in the possession of that, then, during all the Time that the Beast did make war against them: Therefore this Kingdom must be that glorious and visible Kingdom of Christ, which, will not be given into their actual Possession,-, until the War is ended, th? Beast destroyed, and the Ancient of Days does fit. Again, neither can this blessed Kingdom here spoken of be meant <-f the Kingdom in the Eternal Heavens, as appears plain also, in the 27th Verse, that if we do but seriously consider it, there will be no room left for a Doubt, to question the Truth of such a glorious perfect Kingdom-State in this World, to be possessed and enjoyed by Christ and the Saints, between the Time of hip personal Coming, and the Winding up of the last Judgment: The Words run thus; And the Kingdom and Dominion, and the Qreatvers of the Kingdom, under the whole Heaven, fall be given to the People os the Sainls of the Most High; whose Kingdom h an everlasting Kingdom: And all Bomi- .

dom, shall be given to the Peop'e of the Saints of the Most High-, for they shall sit with Christ upon Thrones, to judge the World of wicked Men and fallen Angels. 1 Cor. vi. 2, 3. Do ye not hww that the Saints stall judge the Woriel? Know ye not that we stall judge Angels ? How much more things that pertain to this Life? Then will the Mountain of the Lord's House (which is the Church of God) be exalted and established upon the Top of all Mountains and Hills of all worldly Powers; Then the Law of Tower, Rule, and Government, stall go forth out of Sion, and the Word of Grace and Mercy from Jerusalem, Mic. iv. 1, 2.

Fifthly, The Place where this Kingdom is to be erected, possessed, and enjoyed? Which is the principal Point my Thoughts are hYd upon, in the Handling of this Discourse, and that is wider the whole Heaven. What Words can express the Visibility and Glory of Christ's Kingdom, with the faints, in this World, more than these do? You may read the Words again (and the Lord help the Reader seriously 10 consider what lie reads) Avd the Kingdom, and Dominion, and Greatness of the Kh gdom, urJer the.whole Heaven, snail be given to the People of the Sahits of the Most High, Sec. Doth not the Spirit of God speak in these Words, as plain as possibly Words can be spoke for our Un-.erstanding? That we might not mistake the Meaning of the Holy Ghost, and take this Kingdom for the Kingdom of the Ultimate Glory, in the eternal Heavens -, he faith expresly, that it shall be, in respect of Place, wider the whole Hcavcn. This is not then to be understood (as some would carry it) In; but Under Heaven: Mind that Expression, Nc

some part, but under the whole Heaven• which shews that it {hall extend it self over all the World. Is it not wonderful then, that any of the People of God sliould call this precious Truth of Christ s Kingdom into question •, when the Spirit of God hath so fully express'd himself, in a multitude of Places > And in this Text so clearly, as that there will be a Kingdom given to t^e Saints; and that this Kingdom, for the^Glory and Excellency of it, is set forth by such great Expressions as, The Kingdom, the Dominion, and the Greatness of the Kingdom, &c. What other Interpretations can Persons pretend to give upon so clear a Scripture, that this should not be the Meaning of the Words? A Spiritual Kingdom it cannot be, for the Reasons aforegiven :Neither can it be referred to the State of the Saints in the Ultimate Glory-, because the Words in the Text (as has been observed) contradicts that Exposition,, which faith not In, but Under the whole Heaven. *• Sixthly and Lastly, The Duration of this Kingd in, and how it is contemporary with theKingdom of Christ, is express'd in that Word; Whose Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom: And all Dominion stall serve and obey him. As to the Duration of this blessed State, and how this Kingdom is said to be everlasting, I have already explain'd •, and therefore need speak no more to that. Secondly, All Dominion stall serve avd obey him. The Person here specify'd, that all Dominion stall serve and obey, is the Lord Jesus Christ; it being agreeable to those Words in Phil.ii. To. Wherefore G<2 also hath highly exalted him. and given him a Name which is above every Name: That at the Name of Jesus every Knee fliall

bow j of things in Heaven, and things in Earth, and things under the Earth; and that every Tongue stall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory oj God the Father. This shews that God the Father hath exalted Christ, and given him a Name above every Name, that every Knee stould bow to him, whether of Things or Persons in Heaven, Earth, or under the Earth: For certain it is that they do not yet bow to him; and every Tongnc doth not yet conjefs, that JefusChrist tsLord. But theTime is coming, that every Knee stall bow to him,and every! ongue stall confess, that Jesus Christ u Lord, to the Glory oj God theFal her. So in the Text all Dominions have not, neither do yetserve andebey him: But when t\cKingdomanl the Dominion comes to be put into the hands of the Saints, then it is that .they shall serve and obey him. Well then! These Words do {hew what I before hinted, that the Kingdom of Christ and the Saints, will begin* endure, and continue together, as one entire Kingdom of the Mediator -, which is very observable in these Words, when the Spirit of God had asserted, that the Kingdom and the Dominion^ and- the Greatness of the Kingdom wider the whole Heaven, should be given to the People of the Saints of the Mod High, immediately changes his Words from them to mm, from the Saints to Christ, in saying that all Dominion stall serve and obey him: Wherein the Holy Ghost does as it were point out to us the very Person who is to be King in this universal Kingdom (which will extend it self over all the Earth) unto whom all Wisdom, Glory, Power, and eternal Praise, will be given by Saints aud Angels, for ever. But it may be objected. Shall not all the Saints be Kings in that Day? It is
