that some things which he will do when he coi to set up his Kingdom, should be hid and kept se> cret until the time of the End, until the Opening of the Vision. These Seven- Thunders may contain in them some of those strange things which the Lord will do in that great Day when he flail come to do his Work, his strange Work; and bring to pass his ABs, his strange ABs, Isa. xxviii. 21. Eleventhly and lastly, Then it followeth in the 5th and 6th Verse, And the Angel which I saw stand upon the Sea and us on the Earth. This great, this wonderful, this mighty Angel, this Angel, of the Covenant) lifted up his Hand to Heaven, to shew the Solemnity of the Act: which he was now about, ondsware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created Heaven and ihe things that therein are $ and the Earth and the things that therein are-, andtheSea and the things which are therein; that there fl)ould be Time no longer. This seems tome to carry another Argument, that by this Angel thrift must be understood, being represented to John in Vision. As to the manner how he will appear, when he shall come down personally from Heaven ; and what it is that he will do upon his first descending : And that is his shearing with his Hand lift up to Heaven (as the manner of Swearing then was) by him that liveth for ever and ever, who is the Lord Jehovah, Creai r of all things in Heaven, Earth, and Sea: And therefore shews the Certainty of what is here sworn to9 and that is that Time fliculd be no Icytgcr-, not nnly the Time allowed all for the Continuance of the Roman Empire, the Last of the Four Monarchies fliciild be no longer; but all Time relating to the Time of this World fljall be no longer •, that

is the Time allowed for the "World to continue in its fallen, sinful, and corrupted State; ortheTime and Date which has run on from the Creation to Christ's First Coming; from Christ's First to his Second Coming; stall be no longer. Time will not then be counted from the Creation as now, nor from the Time of Christ's Finishing the Work of our Redemption; but we shall begin a new Account, which will take date from the Time of Christ's Kingdom; from the Time that the Kingdoms of this World are to become the Kingdoms of our Lord' and his Christ. ."*%HS^I

Thus we fee first in what respect Time stall be no lorger, when the Lord Jesus Christ shall come from Heaven: There shall be no longer Time for this World to continue in this iinful State that now it is in: There stall be no longer Time for eating and drinking, buying and felling, building and planting, marrying and giving in Marriage; no longer Time fat wicked Men to wallow in Sin and Wickedness; no longer Time for them to afflict, distress, and persecute the People of God; no longer Time for the poor Saints to be in Trials, Troubles, Distresses, and Afflictions: AU Time on this account will have ar, t*d. But secondly I shall shew in what respect Time will not have an end, and that is the Time allotted, allowed, and appointed, for the Kingdom of Christ to takerlace, to begin, continue, and endure, at least for aThousandtiars, Rev. xx. 6. The Words Time 2 be no longer is not (I humbly conceive) in this to be taken in a strict Sense, as if all things e now to be swallowed up in an absolute Kte; nity: For when this Angel descended from Heavenand [ware that Time stould be no lorger; yet there
