M., January 21, 1907. Monday, 12 o'clock m., This being the day designated by law for the organization of the Thirty-seventh Legislative Assembly of the Territory of New Mexico, the gentlemen having certificates to the House of Representatives of the Thirty-seventh Legislative Assembly of the Territory of New Mexico, met at the Hall of Representatives in the Capitol of the Territory, in the City of Santa Fe, the capital of said Territory, this 21st day of January, A. D., 1907. Honorable J. W. Raynolds, Secretary of the Territory of New Mexico, made his appearance at 12 o'clock m., and called the Assembly to order, according to the requirements of law. An invocation was offered by the Reverend Adrien Rabeyrolle. The Secretary then proceeded to call the roll of members elect from the different counties and districts of the Territory of New Mexico. The Secretary announced at the beginning of the roll call that the members-elect, as their names were called, should appear at the Bar of the House in front of the Speakers desk, so he might administer to them the oath of office in a body. The roll was called by the Secretary and the members answering to the call, and appearing at the Bar of the House, are as follows: First District-Colfax, H. C. Abbott. Second District-Union, Romulo Padilla. Third District-Taos, Ramon Sanchez. Fourth District-Mora, Estevan H. Biernbaum. Sixth District-Rio Arriba, Julian Trujillo. Seventh District-Rio Arriba-San Juan, Price Walters. |
