SECTION 2. Section 2 of said chapter 781 is hereby amended 2 by striking out, in line 4, the word "sixteen" and inserting 3 in place thereof the word: - twenty.

COUNTY TO MAKE CERTAIN EXPENDITURES FOR SALARIES OF THE

FOURTH AND FIFTH ASSISTANT CLERKS IN THE DISTRICT COURT

OF SPRINGFIELD IN ANTICIPATION OF THE COUNTY APPROPRIATION

ACT FOR THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in

General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provisions of

2 chaptr thirty-five of the General Laws, the county commis-

3 sioners of Hampden county shall, on and after January first

4 in the year nineteen hundred and sixty-six, expend from any

5 available funds such sums as may be necessary to pay the

6 salaries of the fourth and fifth assistant clerks appointed in

7 the district court of Springfield appointed under chapter

8 eight hundred and ninety-six of the acts of nineteen hundred

9 and sixty-five.

AN ACT DIRECTING THE TRUSTEES OF SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE TO MAINTAIN A SCHOOL OF NURSING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Chapter 75B of the General Laws is hereby amended by 2 inserting after section 1 the following section:

3 Section 1A. The trustees shall maintain a school of nursing. 4 Said school shall be so maintained and operated as to comply 5 with the standards approved by the board of registration in 6 nursing.
