IRST DAY.-A Cup of 100gs value, by Subfcribers of 10gs each, the furplus to be paid the winner in fpecie: four yr olds to carry 7ft. lb. five yr olds, 8ft. 7lb. fix yr olds, 9ft. and aged, 9ft. 4lb. -one 4-mile heat. The money to be paid to the Clerk of the Course before starting, or the Subfcription to be doubled.

HUNTERS' STAKES.

We, whose names are hereunder subscribed, do agree to run for a Sweepstakes of 10gs each, p. p. by horfes, &c. to be bona fide the property of Subfcribers at the time of naming, to be regularly hunted the feafon preceding, and never to have started for Plate, Match, or Sweepstakes, or to have paid or received forfeit, before the day of naming. Five yr olds to carry 10ft. 7lb. fix yr olds, 11ft. 6lb. and aged, 12ft.-one 4-mile heat. Subfcription to clofe, and the horses to be named to the Clerk of the Course, or Mr. Weatherby, on or before the first day of March next. To be run the fecond day of next Oxford Races. The Subfeription to be paid to the Clerk of the Courfe before ftarting, otherwife not to be entitled to the Stakes, though a winner.

Same day, a Sweepstakes of 25gs each, for three yr old colts, Sft. and fillies, 7ft. 1lb.two miles. To name on or before the first day of March, 1798, to Mr. Allport, Market-ftreet, Lichfield, or Mr. Weatherby, Oxenden-ftreet, London.-p. p.

This Subfcription to remain open until the day of naming.

Five Subfcribers, or no Race.

SECOND DAY.-A Sweepstakes of 20gs each, for horfes, &c. the property of Subfcribers at the time of nomination (bona fide) that have never had a fweat, or been trained, or ftarted for Match, Plate, or Sweepstakes, before the first day of March, 1798,

and have been regularly hunted the preceding feafon, a certificate whereof is to be produced, if required, from the owner of the hounds with which they have hunted. To carry 12ft. each ;-—one 4-mile heat.

It is understood, that horfes, &c. by being fhewn upon the field two or three times in the feafon, are not qualified; on the contrary, they must have been regularly hunted, as the certificate muft pofitively affirm.

This Subfcription to remain open till the first day of March, 1798, on or before which day, the horfes, &c, muft be named to Mr. Weatherby, Oxenden-street, London, or to Mr. Allport, Marketstreet, Lichfield.
