In Acts ii. 25. and xiii. 35. this prophetical Psalm is applied to Jesus Christ. 1 My lot is fall'n in this blest land, He fills my cup with liberal hand, 2 Therefore my soul shall bless the LORD, 3 I'll strive each action to approve No danger shall my hopes remove, 4 Therefore my heart all grief defies, My flesh shall rest in hope to rise, 5 Thou dost the paths of life display PSALM 18. The citations of it in the New Testament evince that the spiritual triumph of Messiah is intended.
