The report of the Committee on the Judiciary, on a bill entitled "An Act in addition to an Act de Communities and Corporations," recommending the reference of the bill to the Committee on Incorporations, was received from the House, the bill having been so referred, and the report of the Committee accepted.

House Bill No. 48. The report of the Committee on the Judiciary, on a bill entitled "An Act in addition to an Act against Fraudulent Conveyances," recommending the rejection of the bill, was received from the House, the bill having been rejected, and the report of the Committee accepted.

House Bill No. 109. The report of the Committee on the Judiciary, on a bill entitled "An Act in addition to 'An Act relating to Courts,"" recommending the rejection of the bill, was received from the House, the bill having been rejected and the report of the committee accepted.

REPORTS ON RESOLUTIONS.

The report of the Committee on Incorporations on the resolution concerning the Simsbury Water Company, recommending the passage of the resolution, was received.

The resolution was passed and the report accepted.

The report of the committee on the resolution appropriating $100 to the Oxford Agricultural Society, recommending the passage of the resolution, was received.

REPORT ON REPORT.

The report of the Committee on the Judiciary, recommending that the annual report of the State Librarian on the registration of births, marriages and deaths be accepted and ordered on file in the office of the Secretary of State, was received

from the House, the report having been accepted and ordered

on file.

On motion ordered, that when the Senate adjourn it be to meet on Tuesday, June 10th, at 12 o'clock M.

Petition No. The remonstrance of the Selectmen of Windsor, and one hundred and eighteen voters of said town, against the petition of J. H. Marks for annexation of part of said town to East Granby, was received from the House, having been referred to the Committee on New Towns and Probate Districts.

The Senate concurred in the reference.

REPORTS ON PETITIONS.

Petition No. 15. The report of the Committee on the Judiciary, on the petition of Mary M. Sturdevant for validation of will of Seth Sturdevant, recommending that the petitioner have leave to withdraw, was received from the House, the report having been recommitted to the Committee on the Judiciary.

The Senate concurred in the action of the House.

Petition No. 21. The report of the Committee on the State Prison, on the petition of Alfred Burns for release from State Prison, recommending that the prayer thereof be

granted, and submitting a resolution, was received from the House, the resolution having been passed, the prayer of the petition granted, and the report of the committee accepted. The Senate concurred in the action of the House.

Petition No. 32. The report of the Committee on the State Prison, on the petition of James Cantwell for release from state prison, recommending that the petitioner have leave to withdraw, was received from the House, the report of the committee having been accepted, and the petitioner granted leave to withdraw.

The Senate concurred in the action of the House.

Petition No. 92. The report of the Committee on the State Prison, on the petition of Willard Clark for release from state prison, recommending that the petitioner have leave to withdraw, was received from the House, the report of the committee having been accepted, and the petitioner granted leave to withdraw.

Petition No. 114. The report of the Committee on Incorporations, on the petition of Isaac B. Bristol et al. for the incorporation of a Water Company in New Milford, recommending that the prayer thereof be granted, and submitting a resolution, was received from the House, the resolution having been passed, the prayer of the petition granted, and the report of the committee accepted.

REPORTS ON SENATE BILLS.

Senate Bill No. 16. The report of the Committee on New Towns and Probate Districts, on a bill entitled "An Act regulating the time of closing the Polls in the Second Voting District of Madison," recommending the rejection of the bill, was received from the House, the bill having been rejected, and the report of the Committee accepted.

The Senate concurred in the action of the House.

REPORTS ON HOUSE BILLS.

House Bill No. 18. The report of the Committee on Hu

mane Institutions, on a bill entitled "An Act amending an Act incorporating The Connecticut Industrial School for Girls," recommending the passage of the bill, was taken from the table.

The bill and the report, after debate, were re-tabled.

REPORTS ON RESOLUTIONS.

The report of the Committee on Incorporations, on the resolution incorporating The Epsilon Chapter of the Delta Psi Fraternity of Trinity College, recommending the passage of the resolution, was received from the House, the resolution having been passed, and the report accepted.

The Senate concurred in the action of the House.

REPORTS ON REPORTS.

The report of the Committee on Military Affairs, recommending that the annual report of the Quarter Master General be accepted and ordered on file in the office of the Secretary of State, was received from the House, the report having been accepted and ordered on file.

The Senate concurred in the action of the House.

The report of the Committee on Finance, recommending that the communication of Governor Walker, of Virginia, de Assumption of State debts by the General Government, be accepted and ordered on file in the office of the Secretary of State, was received. The communication was accepted and ordered on file.

MISCELLANEOUS.

The Committee on Unfinished Business reported in favor of the indefinite postponement of sundry Petitions, Bills, and Resolutions, continued from the General Assembly of 1872.

The report was accepted and the documents were indefinitely postponed.

House Bills No. 3, No. 13, and No. 67, and the substitutes therefor, reported by the Committee on Banks, were, on motion, recommitted to the Committee on Banks.

Senator Stoddard of the Fourth District, was excused from serving on the Committee on Conference de Connecticut Medical Society Memorial.

Senator Wheeler of the Tenth District, was appointed member of said Committee.

On motion the President declared the Senate adjourned.
