[ No. 112. ] AN ACT to amend an act entitled "an act disposing of certain grants of land made to the State of Michigan for railroad purposes, by act of Congress, approved June third, eighteen hundred and fifty-six," approved February fourteenth, eighteen hundred and fifty-seven. SECTION 1. The People of the State of Michigan enact, That section seven of "an act disposing of certain grants of land made to the State of Michigan for railroad purposes, by act of Congress, approved June third, eighteen hundred and fifty-six," approved February fourteenth, eighteen hundred and fifty-seven, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: Sec. 7. The People of the State of Michigan enact, That the School dis- farm and premises of Wayne county, for the support and benefit ized. of the poor, be organized into a school district, to be numbered by the school inspectors of the township of Nankin, and that the superintendent of the poor, and the county auditors of Wayne county, shall be authorized and empowered to act as the Public mo officers of said school district, and draw the public money for school purposes to which the children of the poor as are at the Wayne county poor-house, and within said district, are entitled, and appropriate said moneys to the education of said children.
