Mr. Smalley offered the following resolution :

Resolved, That the Committee on Public Buildings are hereby requested to inquire into the expediency and necessity of providing better accommodations for the State Library, the State Cabinet, the Collections of the Vermont Historical Society; and also for additional committee rooms and for the better ventilation of the Representatives' Hall and Senate Chamber; and report by bill or otherwise;

Which was read and adopted.
