On motion of Mr. Byers, Senate file No. 15, a bill for an act to amend ection 4027 of the code, relating to notice of executions sales, with report of committee recommending amendment and passage, was taken up. Mr. Byers moved that the report of the committee recommending the following amendments be adopted:

By inserting the figures "4023, 4024 and 4026" after the words "four thousand, twenty-three," "four thousand, twentyfour" and "four thousand, twenty-six," in lines five (5) and six (6).

Carried.

Mr. Byers moved that the rule be suspended, and that the bill be read a third time now, which motion prevailed, and the bill was read a third time.

Mr. Cowles offered the following amendment and moved its adoption: Strike out the word "thirty" in the third line and insert the words "twenty-five."

The amendment was lost.

Mr. Santee moved that the rule be suspended, and that the bill be considered engrossed and read a third time now, which motion prevailed, and the bill was read a third time.

Mr. Kendall requested that consideration of the bill be deferred until to-morrow.

There being no objection, the request was granted.
