JOE E. HEIMLICH is Leader, Environmental Sciences, for Ohio State University Extension and assistant professor of environmental education, School of Natural Resources at Ohio State University (OSU).

EMMALOU NORLAND is associate professor in the department of Agricultural Education at OSU. She was the recipient of the 1993 OSU Alumni Distinguished Teaching Award.
