DR. J. COLLIS BROWNE'S

CHLORODYNE

THE ORIGINAL AND ONLY GENUINE.

The "TIMES," August 13, 1877.-"From our Correspondent with the Russian Army,-Okoum July 25.-The want of sanitary arrangement in the Russian Camp was dreadful. I myself acquired a reputation as a doctor, owing to my being provided with a small bottle of Chlorodyne, with which I effected miraculous cures."

The "STANDARD."-" Shumla, August 12.-The climate in Shumla, and, in fact, in all towns in this country, seems fever-laden. Quinine and Chlorodyne are consequently at a premium." CHLORODYNE is the best remedy known for Coughs, Consumption Bronchitis, Asthma.

CHLORODYNE effectually checks and arrests those too often fatal diseases known as Diphtheria, Fever, Croup, Ague.

CHLORODYNE acts like a charm in DIARRHEA, and is the only specific in CHOLERA and DYSENTERY.

CHLORODYNE effectually cuts short all attacks of Epilepsy, Hysteria, Palpitation, and Spasms.

CHLORODYNE is the only palliative in Neuralgia, Rheumatism, Gout, Cancer, Toothache, Meningitis, &c.

The Right Hon. EARL RUSSELL has graciously favoured J. T. DAVENPORT with the following

"EARL RUSSELL communicated to the College of Physicians that he received a despatch from Her Majesty's Consul at Manilla, to the effect that Cholera had been raging fearfully, and that the ONLY remedy of any service was CHLORODYNE."-See Lancet, December 1, 1864.

From Dr. B. J. Boulton & Co., Horncastle.

We have made pretty extensive use of Chlorodyne in our practice lately, and look upon it as an excellent direct Sedative and Anti-Spasmodic. It seems to allay pain and irritation in whatever organ, and from whatever cause. It induces a feeling of comfort and quietude not obtainable by any other remedy, and it seems to possess this great advantage over all other Sedatives, that it leaves no unpleasant after-effects.

CAUTION.-The extraordinary medical reports on the efficacy of Chlorodyne render it of vital importance that the public should obtain the genuine, which bears the words, "Dr. J. Collis Browne's Chlorodyne."

Vice-Chancellor WooD stated that Dr. J. COLLIS BROWNE was undoubtedly the Inventor of CHLORODYNE; that the whole story of the defendant, Freeman, was deliberately untrue.

Lord Chancellor Selborne and Lord Justice James stated that the defendant had made a deliberate misrepresentation of the decision of Vice-Chancellor Wood.

Chemists throughout the land confirm this decision that Dr. J. C. BROWNE was the Inventor of CHLORODYNE.

Sold in Bottles at 1s. 1d., 2s. 9d., and 4s. 6d., by all Chemists.

Sole Manufacturer, J. T. DAVENPORT,
