THE present edition of Dr. LANGHoRNE’s Sermons, it is presumed, will not prove unacceptable to the Public, having always been held in high estimation for their perspicuousness as well as elegance of style. The Author was appointed Assistant Preacher at Lincoln's Inn Chapel by Dr. HURD, Bishop of JWorcester; and the Sermons were first published in consequence of the approbation of the enlightened auditory before whom they were preached.
