By Order of the Noblemen, Gentlemen, and Stewards of the above Club, the IRISH RACING CALENDAR is published by ROBERT HUNTER, Dublin, in which. all Advertisements of Racing Articles run in Ireland, Standing of Stallions, Sale of Horses, Hounds, &c. as well as the Races run for in Ireland, and every Sporting Intelligence are to be inserted. All Racing Articles respecting Races to be run in Ireland, to be Advertised in full in the RACING CALENDAR, and considered by the Noblemen and Gentle. men of the Turf as authentic, and to be abided by in preference to any other mode of Advertising. And the Stewards of the Turf Club have, at the October Meeting, 1823, come to the following Resolution : “That they will not weight any Country: Stakes, or give any opinion (on any case referred to . them) without the Articles have been previously Ad. vertised in the RACING CALENDAR, the charge of all such Advertisements being subject to their control."
