OBADIAH has been assignled dates six hundred years apart by German critics, and two hundred years apart by English writers. Pusey places him 787 B. C., Keil 889–884 B.C., Henderson 590 B. C. As these are all conjectural, the date in
English Bibles is retained Haggai. 520-518.
