Joel is placed by some 810–795. 810-784. writers fifty years earlier, IIosea. B.C. 800-723. but, as Dr. Pusey shows, without sufficient reason. Amos is supposed by Pusey to have begun to pro phesy after Hosea, and to Isaiah. have closed his work long 765-698. Micah. before the end of Hosea's. 758-710. B. C. But Hosea, according to 750....... Pusey, prophesied over sev. enty years, or from 795 to 723 B.C. Hence he would place Amos from 790 to 784 Nahun.B.C. But sinco he offers no 720-698.lfte to support hi facts to support his supposi tiou as to the beginning of B.C.
