Amos is supposed by Pusey to have begun to pro phesy after Hosea, and to Isaiah. have closed his work long 765-698. Micah. before the end of llosea's. 758-710. But Hosoa, according to B.C. 750....... Pusey, prophesied over seventy years, or from 795 to 723 B.C. Hence he would place Amos from 790 to 784 Nahum. B.C. But since he offers no 720-698. facts to support his supposi tiou as to the beginning of B.C. 700 ................... Amos' prophetic work, the 86 common date is retained. 650 ......... B.C. Obadiah. 595-536. 588-583, OBADIAH has been assigned dates six hundred years apart by German critics, and two hundred years apart by English writers. Pusey places him 787 B, C., B.C. 550 Keil 889–884 B.C., Henderson 590 B. C. As these are all conjectural, the date in English Bibles is retained Zechariah. Haggai. 520-510. 520-518. in the Table, This Table is compiled from the latest works of Angus, Smith, Henderson, Keil, Pusey, etc., etc. Especial aid has been derived from Angns' Bible Hand-book and Pusey's Minor Prophets.
