AGREEABLY to the provisions of the Constitution, the Senate of the State of Vermont convened at the State House in Montpelier on the second Thursday, being the tenth day, of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-four, At ten o'clock, A. M., the Senate was called to order by His Honor HORACE EATON, Lieutenant Governor and ex officio President of the Senate, when the roll was called by the Secretary, and the following Senators answered to their names: BENJAMIN F.
