Mr. Darling, by leave, introduced the following bill, which was read the first and second time; and the rule requiring bills to be printed before being considered in the committee of the whole, suspended, to wit:

After some time spent therein, the committee rose and reported bills Nos. 40 and 62 with amendments, and bilis, memorial and resolution without amendment, as follows: memorial No. 6, resolution No. 19, and bills Nos. 17, 37, 60, 51, 64 and 30, and recommended memorial No. 7 to be indefinitely postponed.

The amendments to bill No. 62 were concurred in, the bill ordered to a third reading, and by special order of the house was read the third time, passed, and the title thereof agreed to.
