Gameboy was got by Tomboy, out of Lady Moore Carew, by Tramp, the dam of Mendicant (winner of the Oaks in 1846) grandam, Kite, the dam of Vulture, the dam of Orlando (winner of the Derby in 1844) and sire of Teddington (winner of the Derby in 1851) his great grandam, Olympia, the dam of Elis (winner of the St Leger in 1836) own brother to Epirus, sire of Pyrrhus the First (winner of the Derby in 1846).

Tramp, the sire of Lady Moore Carew, is also the sire of St Giles and Dangerous (both winners of the Derby) and of Barefoot (winner of the St Leger in 1823).

Tomboy, the sire of Gameboy and Nutwith (winner of the St Leger in 1843) is by Jerry (winner of the St Leger in 1824) out of the dam of Bee's-wing, the dam of Newminster (winner of the St Leger in 1851).

He is the sire of Trousseau (the winner of four two years old stakes in succession) and Mrs Birch, the only two animals of his produce that have ever been trained.

Also,

MILDEW, by Slane, out of Semiseria, by Voltaire, grandam, Comedy, by Comus, at 5 sov. each mare, and 10s. to the groom.

He is a beautiful chesnut, and his appearance not to be excelled by any horse of the day, and had he kept sound, might be fairly said to have been the best horse of his year.

His stock (now foals) are of great size and substance, and very racing-like.

The produce of the owner's ten mares put to Hetman Platoff in 1849 was six colts and four fillies, and of his nine mares put to him in 1850, seven colts and two fillies.

He is by Sultan, out of Francesca, by Partisan, her dam by Orville, grandam by Buzzard, out of Hornpipe, by Trumpator. Kremlin is a brown horse, possessing an excellent temper, with great size and muscular power. In the course of his racing career he beat Harkaway, Cardinal Puff, and Industry (the winner of the Oaks) besides several other celebrated horses, for particulars of which, see Racing Calendar.

Melbourne was got by Humphrey Clinker (sire of Rockingham, winner of the Doncaster St Leger in 1833), his dam by Cervantes (she was the dam of b. f. by Loudon, Mentor, Maria, and Morpeth, all winners), grandam by Golumpus (sire of Catton), great grandam by Paynator (sire of Dr Syntax), &c. &c.

PEEP-O'-DAY BOY, at 5gs a mare (groom's fee included).

Peep-o'-Day Boy was got by Harkaway, out of Rosetta, by Roller, her dam, sister to Recruit, by Whalebone-Teddy the Grinder. Harkaway, by Economist, dam by Nabocklish, is the sire of Princess Royal, Ballinafad, Clear-the-way, Connaught Ranger, Kissaway, and many others.

He is a bright chesnut horse, standing 16 hands high, and shows great blood and power.

In 1847 he won the Sweepstakes at the Curragh April and June Meetings, in 1848 he won the Chester cup, and in 1851 the Queen's plate at Northampton. He is an untried stallion.

Lothario was bred by the Duke of Richmond in 1840, by Giovanni, out of Moggy.

Moggy was got by Sultan, her dam, Active, by Partisan, out of Eleanor, by Whiskey.

Giovanni was got by Filho da Puta, out of Don Juan mare, her dam, Moll-in-the-Wad, by Hambletonian,

At Ascot, in June 1845, Lothario won the Ascot stakes of 25 sov. each, beating Inheritress, Minotaur, and sixteen others. In July 1845, at Liverpool, he won the Tradesmen's cup, value 200 sov. and 1001. given from the Racing-fund, added to a Sweepstakes of 25 sov. each (131 subscribers) beating Rowena, Corranna, Winesour, Dog Billy, and twelve others. In August 1845 he won the Queen's plate at Brighton, 2-mile heats, beating Boardingschool Miss, Naworth, &c. &c.

SIR TATTON SYKES, at 10gs a mare, and 1 guinea to the groom; half-bred mares at 5gs, and 10s. to the groom.

Sir Tatton Sykes is a dark bay horse, 16 hands high, with great power and fine symmetry, got by Melbourne, dam by Margrave, out of Patty Primrose. He proved himself one of the best horses of his day, having won the Knavesmire stakes, 2000gs stakes, ran second for the Derby, and won the Doncaster St Leger in 1846. RED DEER, at 10gs a mare (groom's fee included); half-bred mares, 3gs.

Red Deer is a bay horse, with black legs, 16 hands high, got by Venison, out of The Soldier's Daughter, by The Colonel, her dam by Oscar, out of Camarine's dam, by Rubens, out of Tippitywitchet, by Waxy-Hare, by Sweetbriar.

Red Deer won the Somersetshire stakes at Bath, the Coffeeroom and Port stakes at Newmarket, the Maidstone stakes at Goodwood, and the Tradesmen's cup of 1406gs at Chester, besides other valuable stakes. Nine of his produce have started, and seven of them are winners.

RATAN, at 10gs a mare, and 1 guinea to the groom; half-bred mares at 3gs, and 10s. to the groom.
