Into Thy hands, O LORD, I commend my fpirit:

Antiphon. The day is Thine and the night is Thine; Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive honour, and praise, and worship for evermore.

Then shall a fhort space be kept for Mental Prayer, after which may follow Bishop Andrewes' Evening Prayer (if that book be used), and then the Prayers of the Association, by those who are Members.

Merciful LORD, Who of Thine abundant goodnefs towards us haft made the day to work in, and ordained the night wherein to take our reft; grant us fuch reft of body, that we may continually have a waking foul, to watch for the time when our LORD fhall appear to deliver us from this mortal life. Let no vain or wandering fancy trouble us; let our ghoftly enemies have no power over us, but let our minds be fet wholly upon Thy presence, to love, and fear, and rest in Thee alone; that being refreshed with a moderate and fober fleep, we may rise up again with cheerful ftrength and gladness, to ferve Thee in

all good works; through JESUS CHRIST Our LORD. Amen.

Let us adore Him Who was born as at this time for us. Hail, King of angels, Prince of peace, Light of the Gentiles, Glory of Thy people Ifrael!

Circumcifion.

Let us celebrate Him Who as at this time first began to fhed His most precious Blood for us, and became obedient to the law, to fhew us how we are in all things to obey His bleffed Will.

Epiphany.

Let us adore Him Who as at this time was manifested to the Gentiles, and was worshipped by the wife men. Let us with them offer our gifts, even ourselves, our fouls and bodies ; and may He most mercifully accept us alfo.

Lent.

Let us adore, with contrite hearts, Him Who as at this time did fast forty days and forty nights in the wilderness, dwelling with wild beasts, and did not difdain to be tempted of the devil for our falvation.

Holy Week.

Let us praife, with humble thankfulness, Him Who fuffered for us. For the chaftifement of our

peace was upon Him, and with His ftripes we are healed. May that precious Blood, then fo plentifully fhed, wafh us from all our fins.

Maundy Thursday.

Let us praise and glorify Him Who with inconceivable love did institute the holy Sacrament of the Eucharift, giving Himself to us in it. May we ever, eating this Bread and drinking this Cup, fhew forth the LORD's death till He come.

Good Friday.

Let us celebrate Him Who of His own free will was fastened to the Cross in the flesh, to deliver man from the curfe, when he had tafted the forbidden tree for glory is due to Him. (From Greek Church.)

Now is Salvation come into the world; let us fing to Him Who rofe from the grave, to Him Who is the Prince of our life; for He hath overcome death by His death, and hath given us victory and great mercy. Whitsunday.

Let us praise the HOLY SPIRIT of God, of one fubftance with the FATHER and the Son, Who as at this time came down to be the Comforter. May He shed abroad the Love of God in our hearts.

Trinity Sunday.

Glory be to Thee, O most Holy TRINITY, our GOD. O TRINITY, O UNITY, the author of light, grant to our fouls the fweet draught of Thy Divine Love, which is full of light; and that heavenly forrow which purifieth us, O LORD, moft merciful to all Thy creatures. Let us adore our GOD, Whose glory fhone forth in His fervant St. whom we commemorate to-day. May He grant us, with all His faints, an acceptable judgment at the last day, and make us all worthy of the incorruptible kingdom.
